A celebration of Fudge-related music, dance, literature and art. Featuring characters and artists currently spearheading the campaign for Fudge recognition, ‘The Festival of Fudge’ has delighted audiences old, young and toothless in Glasgow, Birmingham, Cumnock & Perth. The Festival of Fudge is set to tour throughout 2011-2013.

"This consummate foray into the cleverly ridiculous teased audiences into looking, listening and laughing at what’s basically under their noses, if they take time to engage with it." Mary Brennan, The Herald

The attractions and short, fun theatrical presentations are made by a troupe of ten interactive performers, and the ‘festival’ runs for two hours straight through, featuring short stage presentations as highlights. The Festival of Fudge features five ‘pop-up’ marquees which each measure 3m square. Technically, the event is almost self-sufficient, and requires basic production support from the host as per any similar public event.

As one audience member blogged: “I loved the whole ethos of the event – simply to bring joy to passers by and engage them in temporary nuttiness”.
