Prohibition Era 'Speakeasy'

ImageMischief la-Bas was asked to re-create a 1930's illicit drinking club for a large corporate party. So we set about populating the venue with a host of walkabout characters, headed by Mr Big and his 'main squeeze' Tallulah Bulkhead. Bespoke shoe-shine boys, cigarette girls and crackpot moonshine distillers also added to the ambience. To cap the proceedings, the dinner was 'raided' by Elliot Smess & The Unbearables and Mr Big (plus the innocent after-dinner speaker) were carted off to the slammer.

In a similar vein, we have provided the characters and props for various other themed parties, whether they be 'Matrix' style security personnel at an Amsterdam conference centre,  Las Vegas Showgirls for an Elvis themed launch at Prestwick Airport or salty sea-dogs for an interactive party quiz in Birmingham entitled 'Who Wants To Be A Buccaneer?'.

What People Say About Us

‘I am writing to thank you and your team for an excellent contribution to our event. As I was driving to Greenock on the Wednesday morning all I heard on the Fred Macaulay Show was your tones and interview about Greenock. Your community input with the team and your own manifestations were enjoyed by all and as ever it was a pleasure working with you – I hope you had fun in Greenock.’ Kind regards
