As part of the ‘Shine on Glasgow’ Christmas seasons we devised a musical representation of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ which was performed on the various tiers of a vast metal Christmas tree sculpture in Buchanan Street. Amidst howling gales our brave performers teetered with soggy cardboard props repeating themselves every 15 minutes with great fortitude. For the opening of The Ocean Terminal complex in Leith, Edinburgh, we then devised a specially choreographed version of ‘The Twelve Days of Xmas’, featuring glorious costumes and the debut of our lttle second-hand PA. For our generally ‘less than elegant’ troupe, this balletic Hollywood-style extravaganza was a great development in the footwork and grace department, and it had the added benefit of developing mathematical skills. Mr. Roger Clifford, adopting the role of Conductor, took visual buffoonery to a new and exquisite level.
