Shine on Glasgow

As part of the ‘Shine on Glasgow’ Christmas seasons we devised a musical representation of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ which was performed on the various tiers of a vast metal Christmas tree sculpture in Buchanan Street. Amidst howling gales our brave performers teetered with soggy cardboard props repeating themselves every 15 minutes with great fortitude.

For the opening of The Ocean Terminal complex in Leith, Edinburgh, we then devised a specially choreographed version of ‘The Twelve Days of Xmas’, featuring glorious costumes and the debut of our lttle second-hand PA. For our generally ‘less than elegant’ troupe, this balletic Hollywood-style extravaganza was a great development in the footwork and grace department, and it had the added benefit of developing mathematical skills. Mr. Roger Clifford, adopting the role of Conductor, took visual buffoonery to a new and exquisite level.

What People Say About Us

‘Many, many thanks for helping us create some real impact on the first weekend of this year’s Festival. Your team were absolutely outstanding. Thanks for one of the most bizarre weekends in my life! Both the Elvis Cleaning Company and the Paparazzi got the most perfect reaction with their antics. The pub crawl was especially rewarding, taking the spirit of the festival to a normal unsuspecting crowd, their reactions were a sight to behold. Please do pass on my thanks to your team who were totally professional and more. Thanks too for taking part in the TV and photo shoots and the radio interviews. I’m looking forward already to working with you again. Take care and hey, don’t go changing!’ Yours sincerely
Jon Hogan (Events Officer Highland Festival)
